Author Guidelines

ETAS Journal (Emerging Technologies in Applied Sciences) welcomes the submission of original research that has not been previously published or is under consideration elsewhere. Authors are required to strictly adhere to the following instructions to ensure a smooth review and publication process:

1. Manuscript Preparation

• Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

• File Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

• Structure: The manuscript should typically include: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

2. Abstract and Keywords

• Abstract: The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must clearly summarize the research objectives, methodology, and key findings.

• Keywords: Provide 5 to 8 specific keywords that accurately reflect the content of the study.

3. Technical Formatting

• Font: Use Times New Roman, size 12 for the body text and size 14 (bold) for headings.

• Tables and Figures: All tables and figures must be numbered sequentially. Titles should be placed above tables and captions below figures.

4. Referencing System

• Style: The journal follows the IEEE citation style for technical and computing papers, and APA style for general applied sciences.

• Accuracy: Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the reference list and vice versa.

5. Publication Ethics

• Originality: Authors must declare that the work is original.

• Plagiarism: All submissions are screened for plagiarism. The similarity index must not exceed 20%.

• Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

The names, email addresses, and personal information entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of ETAS Journal (Emerging Technologies in Applied Sciences). This information will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.  

ETAS Journal is committed to ensuring the privacy and security of its users. Our policy includes the following:

• Data Usage: Personal data (including names, affiliations, and contact details) will only be used for the processing, peer-reviewing, and publication of submitted manuscripts.  

• Communication: Email addresses will be used solely for journal-related communications, such as submission updates, reviewer invitations, and publication notifications.  

• Confidentiality: During the peer-review process, all manuscripts are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers are strictly prohibited from sharing or using the research data before publication.  

• Third-Party Disclosure: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties, except as required for the technical operation of the journal or as mandated by law.  

• Open Access & Metadata: Upon publication, specific metadata (Author names, affiliations, and ORCID IDs) will be made publicly available as part of the article’s permanent record to ensure proper citation and indexing.
